NANNING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- A total of 39 people, including 37 children, were injured in a kindergarten knife attack in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Thursday morning, police said.
A school security worker knifed people at the kindergarten affiliated to the central school of Wangfu Township in Cangwu County at around 8:30 a.m., according to the Cangwu public security bureau.
All the injured have been sent to hospital. While 37 of them suffered minor injuries, two others were in serious condition. Two faculty members were among the injured.
Police are investigating the case. ■
